❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me. A must-have for any dark ambient fan's collection. Plushie Fanatic

Damp, foggy woodland. Rituals, tucked away huts, people that want to be left alone.
I've written deep, ancient forests with this in the background. Packed pines, mulchy woodland carpets. nanashinoprofile
The aptly-named Hauntings write songs that are sinister and moody—the seconds in a horror film right before the jump scare. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 3, 2023
Hypnotic ambient and drone music crests in the second track, which clocks in at a whopping 46 minutes. Mesmerizing from start to finish. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 25, 2023

The presentation is of outer space, but for me this record is also an amazing expression of inner space. It's subtle, but majestic - some parts hint at the analog glory of Bladerunner-era Vangelis - with enough motion and highlights twinkling throughout to maintain interest. This record has been fantastic for me as background music for work. It calms me and keeps me focused, and I've gotten so much done thanks to it. fyeahmetal
